San Francisco Islamic School

Who We Are

The San Francisco Islamic School started with a small group of parents 10 years ago.  Since then, we have grown into a respectable educational institution that has served hundreds of students and families of all faiths, ethnic and economic backgrounds.   

Phase I- How We Started

During the 1st phase of our project (Sunday School), we were able to develop and manage a structured program which earned the support of many community members.  The experience we gained through this process moved us in a direction to further address the needs of our children.  

Phase II- Where We Are Now

Two years ago, we launched the 2nd phase of our project which basically allowed us to start the first full time elementary Islamic School in San Francisco. Up until this point, San Francisco was the only Metropolitan city in the nation without one.
