So that every San Francisco student – especially those in underserved communities – graduates from high school ready for college, career and civic responsibility, the Education Fund works with the entire school community: teachers, parents, administrators, students and volunteers to strengthen schools.

The Education Fund employs programs that address current challenges in classrooms while they also design, incubate and implement long-term reform strategies. The Education Fund programs:

• support teachers with training and resources to enhance their classroom practice;
• match volunteer skills with teacher requests;
• engage students to create positive changes in their schools;
• unite families, service providers, businesses and others to build stronger school communities; and
• inform district policy through community input and strategic partnerships.
