All of us at San Juan Del Rio have been blessed with many successes in 2024. Here is a few of the projects your 2023 I Give Catholic donations helped to make a dream become a reality:

·        The Columbarium – Your donations helped to fund the remodeling of the existing Columbarium and add on over 400 niches for future generations! This includes the Jesus and Mary murals that adorn the front and greet all as you leave the Church and a magnificent Altar used for Services.

·        The Chapel – Together, we finished our Chapel, found and installed American Hand Made Furniture (some by a Parishioner), and repainted the entire room, including the Risen Jesus Mural.

·        Enhanced Security – Over 17 improvements to our Security program have been made to our buildings and properties. Your comfort and safety is an important priority.

·        New Confessionals – Due to your generosity, more people are partaking in the comfortable and private Confessionals to enhance this sacred Sacrament.

·        Restoration of the Stations of the Cross – Each Station was cleaned, sanded, and restored to their original glory to be adored for many years to come.

There were many other projects that were completed, and it was made possible by you. Our work is not done, and it continues daily. Some of our Focus Items this year will be:

·        Improved Landscaping in the Spring – We plan to enhance our beautiful campus and Columbarium to make it even more attractive, with improved irrigation.

·        Replacing dated Church Sound and Choir Equipment – Some vital components are over 20 years old, and need to be replaced.

·        Church Lightning Suppression – As we finished our Lightning Suppression at the Parish Family Center, we need to complete the project on the Church also.

·        Rosary Garden – We have begun to discuss putting in a Rosary Garden where you can walk, meditate, and venerate Our Lady in a relaxed and beautiful setting.

Together, we have accomplished great things in honor of our Lord and the enhancement of the Catholic Family experience at San Juan Del Rio. Early Giving Starts Monday, November 18th and runs through the official I Give Catholic Giving Tuesday date of December 3.  100% of all Donations stay with our Parish. Donations may be made by Cash, Check, going to the www.igivecatholic.org website (select Diocese of St. Augustine, City and State “St. Johns, Florida” and press the button for San Juan Del Rio.
