Family Art Days, Kids need art and we need you! 

What: Family Art Days is a free art education program offered by San Juan Islands Museum of Art. In collaboration with generous donors, and artists, children and their families create hands-on art projects while learning about a variety of forms, techniques, visualization, creativity.  The power of imagination is unlimited!

Why: Opening the world of art to children is one of the greatest gifts we can give kids and families. Art provides the foundation for understand abstract ideas, history, and culture. Our programs provide memorable, immersive learning experiences, provoke imagination, introduce new worlds, subject matter, and offers a unique environment for learning.

Give Big: Your support will provide year-round Family Art Days (FAD) in the context of a regionally recognized art museum, an opportunity to learn from artists, and for families to bond over creative experiences. An emphasis in art at school has been in decline. Family Art Days is one way to address the need for art education, support families, and cultivate community.
