Mothers for Peace is taking action with the Public Utilities Commission to shut down the plant by 2019. PG&E plans to close the two reactors in 2024 and 2025, but we are working to expedite that date. That would spare us five years of Russian Roulette -- the risk of an earthquake, human error, mechanical failure, or a terrorist attack at the plant. It would also reduce by five years the amount of additional nuclear waste generated.
Tax-deductible contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated.
