Since 1996, SATORI has presented over 275 highly-acclaimed public chamber music concerts, with appearances at colleges, music programs, museums, music festivals, and community venues. Based in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, the group’s annual schedule also includes extensive educational programming -- assemblies, classroom programs, extended residencies, a student competition, and the Gift of Music instrument donation program; plus community outreach concert series at area senior residences, hospitals, and hospices. 

SATORI is committed to excellence of performance, availability of good music in the community and the schools, and affordability for our audiences – and since our first concert, have presented: 

• 277 public concerts and performances, partnering with numerous community  organizations throughout the area.
• 12 new chamber music works by area  composers, commissioned or premiered by  SATORI.
• 268 community outreach  performances at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, area senior residences, and Bethlehem’s Hospice House.
• 273 in-school educational      programs, including classroom programs, assemblies, master classes, and residencies.
• 649 band and orchestra instruments  donated to 53 different school and community  music programs through SATORI’s Gift of Music initiative.
• 11 student chamber music      competitions, involving students from 35 area schools.
• 3 full-length CD recordings – Turns, SATORI Live!, and Celebration

SATORI plays both traditional and contemporary chamber music, often intertwined in a single performance, and takes its name from a Zen term denoting the coming together of separate parts to form a whole---a perfect metaphor for chamber music.
