Save Our Cemeteries is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and protection of New Orleans' historic cemeteries through restoration, education, and advocacy.

Founded in 1974, Save Our Cemeteries is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Through restoration, education, and advocacy, we strive to increase the public's interaction, appreciation, and enjoyment of the architectural, historic, and cultural value of these important places. Save Our Cemeteries is the ONLY not-for-profit touring organization in New Orleans. Our tours are intimate - 15 people or less - and we pride ourselves on historical accuracy. We work to preserve the truth as well as the tombs themselves.
