Save A Warrior

Save A Warrior™ was founded by Jake Clark in Malibu, California, in 2012 with a mission to end the epidemic of suicide within our Military, Veteran, and First Responder communities. 

Save A Warrior quickly emerged as a demonstrated authority with an unparalleled success rate in suicide prevention among our nation’s heroes. The combination of holistic and archetypal approaches, with a focus on long-term recovery models, has led to the curation and refinement of an innovative process that shows our Warriors a new way of life. Synthesized from a myriad of proven methods pulled from the spectrum of human wellbeing studies, our program transforms the lives of those struggling with unprocessed early developmental trauma, workplace trauma, combat trauma, military sexual trauma, poly-trauma, survivor’s guilt, and moral injury. These traumas are collectively referred to as Complex Post-Traumatic Stress (C-PTS), which is often co-occurring with chemical and behavioral addiction. 

In the near decade of operation since our founding in 2012, Save A Warrior has had the privilege and the honor to serve more than 1,400 of our nation’s heroes. Each Cohort is comprised of ten men or women from across the country. These Warriors leave our 75-hour intensive residential program with effective and applicable techniques to overcome the symptoms associated with C-PTS and suicidal ideation. In addition, they are plugged into a lifelong community of support through our Alumni network, which grows with the completion of each Cohort. Each day, we witness this community supporting one another on their respective journeys to healing, growth, and full self-expression.
