Open any newspaper or watch local news and you will hear about the violence plaguing our society. These senseless acts can make it appear that violence is a cultural norm. However, violence is not inevitable, it is preventable. As a community, we must work to prevent violence before it starts by looking at the underlying issues that contribute to violent acts.

Resources Against Violent Encounters (RAVE) works to do just that – examine the prevalence of violence in our society and empower teens to prevent the cycle of violence. RAVE teaches teens to manage their anger and discuss their feelings rather resort to violence. 

Without RAVE, there is no program in our schools encouraging healthy teen dating relationships. Join us to put RAVE back into the schools where it belongs.
