This year's fundraising goal is $10,000.00 to add to the $8,000.00 reserved for the purchase of a 12 lead heart monitoring device to bring advanced life-saving equipment to our community. In support of the Meadows Valley Ambulance Service and the Meadows Valley Rural Fire District. S.A.V.E.S. the Day holds an annual fundraiser to earn monies for much needed equipment, medical supplies and rescue apparatus as well as provide additional educational opportunities and new volunteer training. In the past 11 years. Over $190,000.00 has gone back into the community by improving the response, safety and quality of the emergency services in Meadows Valley. The purchase of a computer laptop to aid in the response report to the hospital is one example, new helmets for the firefighters is another. Other purchases have included bright yellow safety jackets and safety vests for all volunteers, EMT education of the new volunteers, sponsorship of EMS week at Meadows Valley School, as well as numerous equipment purchases for the station as well as the fire/rescue/ambulances vehicles.

We celebrate the local hero in all of our Emergency Services Volunteers every day, but June 8, 2013 we get a chance to honor these men and women, who - give us their all!
