Saving Animals Volunteer Effort Inc

Did you know that one unaltered female cat can generate over 400,000 offspring during the course of its life and that one unspayed female dog can result in over 67,000 unwanted puppies? Only a small percentage of these animals that end up in shelters are adopted, with huge numbers being euthanized. In Calhoun County alone, over 8,000 were killed in 2009 due to lack of homes. Many more met their deaths through starvation and highway slaughter.  SAVE's mission is to provide funding for TNR of feral cat colonies and for Calhoun County residents who cannot otherwise afford to spay or neuter their pets!
