Santa Clara County FireSafe Council

A nonprofit organization

The Santa Clara County Firesafe Council (SCCFSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, grassroots organization that provides education and project assistance for homeowners and landowners in communities that are vulnerable to wildfire.

SCCFSC's mission statement is Mobilizing the people of Santa Clara County to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfires.

In addition to partnering directly with CAL FIRE, Santa Clara County Fire, and regional fire districts, SCCFSC works with public agencies, other non-profits, businesses and private landowners to design and implement protective measures -- such as developing shaded fuel breaks --  to increase wildfire survivability.

SCCFSC receives donations from local partners and private residents of Santa Clara County in addition to funding from state and federal grants. All donations, large or small, are gratefully accepted and deeply appreciated.
