The mission of Schenley Heights Community Development Program (SHCDP) is to nurture, support and develop our community through wholesome programs that address the academic, moral, cultural, health, and recreational needs of our children, youth and their families in the Hill District and metropolitan Pittsburgh.

The mission of A-STEP is to empower children to find meaning in their lives by equipping them with educational and social skills that will assist them as they grow into productive adults. Through A-STEP we provide tutoring, homework assistance, physical health activities, computer classes, social skills building, field trips, and other enriching activities that help prepare students in grades K-8 for school and life.
