Invest in the Next Generation of Scientists

The Science National Honor Society (SNHS) recognizes and supports high school students who excel in the sciences and show a deep curiosity about the world around them. SNHS encourages academic excellence in science and nurtures young people who will help lead tomorrow’s high-tech world. 

Today, SNHS includes over 1,400 chapters in 46 states, along with 36 international chapters at American international schools in 18 countries. Through these chapters, students are inspired each year to pursue rigorous science coursework, leadership, and service in their schools and communities.

Your gift directly supports SNHS scholarships. Member dues and donations fund scholarships for outstanding seniors in SNHS chapters across the country and around the world. Since 2005, SNHS has awarded scholarships to more than 450 students and now receives nearly 300 scholarship applications each year—a powerful reflection of both the need and the enthusiasm of young scientists.
