Scooter Scott Project

A nonprofit organization

Considering the multiple life altering choices that today's youth, adults and families face, the Scooter Scott Project exists to provide hope, transform lives and enrich Lexington County and beyond through a Christ-centered, relationship-based approach to programming. Our vision is to provide hope to young people and families to see lives transformed and Lexington County enhanced.

SSP is a faith-based organization helping kids in middle and high school become future leaders of tomorrow. The Scooter Scott Leadership Academy provides after school activities for students grades 7-12 in underserved areas, primarily the Lexington Two School District. Students discuss a variety of topics that are not always covered in school such as responsibility, integrity, healthy decision-making, etc. Additionally, students are exposed to Christianity and what being a Christian means through mentoring relationships with volunteers and class discussions.

Testimonials

"I volunteer with the Free GED ministry and the after school program. I have never been so blessed in my life. It's great to watch the struggles and then the victories! We have terrific volunteers and wonderful leadership, and for that we thank the Lord."

"Thank you to the Scooter Scott Project, which donated snack bag items for our Lexington School District Two students this week!"
