Scraplanta Creative Reuse is a 501(c)3 non-profit on a mission to empower artists, makers, teachers, and students to create beautiful works of art from discarded materials. Atlanta is a vibrant community filled with wonderful artists who just need more access to affordable art supplies and classes. Through your donation, we can make art more accessible and sustainable for Metro Atlanta Creatives.

In March 2023, we launched our community education program which consists of workshops taught by local artists and professionals. In just our first 6 months of the program, we've had over 100 participants in 18 different workshops. The majority of our operations are funded through our art supply thrift store where our staff members sort 4,000 lbs of materials every month. We sell art, classroom, and party supplies at extreme discounts to help folks create more art and achieve financial independence.

We regularly partner with community organizations and schools in the Metro Atlanta region for creative reuse art activations. We've hosted events at The High Museum, the Bakery ATL, and Decatur Square. Learn more about Scraplanta's operations and impact at our website, www.Scraplanta.org.

As we complete a full year of art programs and operate a retail store and art space, we recognize the need to raise money to increase our program and donation capacity. We know we could reach more communities through art programs and supply drives, but we need to raise funds to support our initiatives for 2024.
