$1,700 raised by 29 donors

Celebrate Love Utah, Give Utah with Seven Canyons Trust on Thursday, March 30! The time is now to heal and repair the impaired and buried waterways in the Salt Lake valley! Show your support for clean water, contribute to our 100-year vision.

Accomplishments:

Three Creeks Confluence – Originating in the Trust’s 100 Years of Daylighting, this project has over $600,000 of secured funding and widespread community support. Have you seen our preferred design?

Herman Franks Park – With support from Bockholt Landscape Architecture and the Franks Frank Family Foundation, the Trust has held two community design workshops to gather residents’ visions and ideas and created two community-based designs with this feedback. Take a look at the two design concepts and let us know what you think!

Seven Creeks | Walk Series – In 2016, this program has engaged over 200 people, including urban youth and families, to culturally daylight over 10,000 feet of creek throughout the valley. Participants have observed and shared stories, insights, and visions to explore ways to better manage, restore, and love their hydrology. Are you an artist interested in creative placemaking? Check out this opportunity to win $2,000!

- Mill Creek Confluence – The Trust received a $20,000 grant from the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food’s Invasive Species Mitigation Program. In partnership with the Jordan River Commission, Salt Lake County, and South Salt Lake, the Trust will reverse the invasion of noxious weeds at the site, while planting native species to enhance the habitat value of these public lands.

- And so much more!
