We Care Kauai

Every year, over a million people from around the world come to Kauai. They help support our local shops and restaurants, guided tours, and a host of other fun local activities. Sadly, most of our front-line, grass-roots organizations geared at sustaining life on the island are forgotten and overlooked.

Our goal is to bring awareness to the work they are doing and help bring funding and volunteers to support their efforts.

With the help of countless visitors donating their precious time and money, last year we were able to pull thousands of kilos of marine debris from our oceans, upcycle over 1,000 pounds of ocean plastic and transform it into functional and beautiful creations, rebuild and restore historical, cultural landmarks island wide and share and spread the spirit of Aloha and stewardship with friends and family and our global Ohana.
