Join us this 8/28 Day in a movement toward justice and empowerment! At Second Chance Freedom Foundation, our mission is rooted in lifting up the stories of Black and Indigenous communities and individuals often overlooked by society. This Is Better Illustrated Via Nonpartisan Petitions, Community Townhall Forums, Individual 1:1'S, Social Media Outreach, And Pro Social Justice Messaging With Yard Signs, Billboards, Public Spaces, As Well As Newspaper/Editorial Opinion Pieces, Letters To Editors, And Encouragement/Sympathy Cards To Social Injustice Impacted Individuals. We Advocate For Community Centered Justice And Holistic Wellness For People Who Made A Mistake In Life. We advocate against family separations and we support coalition work to bail out black mothers to be reunited with families during Mother's Day. We Believe People Are Not Meant To Be Thrown Away As Trash, Each Person Is Precious In The Lord's Sight And Are Redeemable. No One Is Perfect And No One Expendable. We Condemn Racism, Sexism, And All Forms Of Discrimination And Violence To Humanity. We don't need anymore kids in cages nor kids in coffins. We need solutions not suspensions and we need gun reform. We need more compassion, humanity, healthy holistic communities with well invested resources for our youth. We believe in second chances for our disenfranchised community members. We know it takes a village to raise a child and a holistic community to raise our youth. We vehemently oppose all forms of discrimination and violence and work tirelessly to advocate for social justice, especially for youth and young adults, in line with the words of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
