Seeds For Autism

SEEDs exists to work with youth and adults impacted by autism. It is a resource and bridge towards greater independence in the community and at home. SEEDs stands for Success thru Education, Exploration and Development.

SEEDs was founded in 2010 to create a resource for genuine education that is hands on, engaging, and purposeful. Instructors are business owners, educators in the trades, guild members, paraprofessionals and artisans who work together building a true learning environment. Skills are purposeful and tailored to each individuals learning ability and styles that best impact and teach. The mentors work alongside the participants in the program to model while building products and a business mentality. Home and garden products are items that have been featured in local magazines, resorts, and garden shops.

SEEDs fosters positive self esteem and allows for all levels to participate in a variety of ways. Students learn how to create the products, market them, sell them, photograph them, and work together. They also learn valuable life lessons like how to cope, stay on task, follow instructions, build a resume, apply for a job, advocate and how to be heard.

Social development is the focus for all programming. We encourage the community to learn more about what we do, and shop our website for unique gifts.
