Since 1990, Seekhaven has grown from a group of three volunteers providing emergency
shelter to a professional staff of ten offering assistance in:

• Crisis Counseling and Support Groups
• Preventative Education
• 24/7 Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Hotline
• Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis Advocates
• Resource Center
• Assistance with Referrals to Appropriate Housing/Employment/Education/Life Skills Agencies
• Shelter, Support and Advocacy to Victims of Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault
• Access to Free Legal Clinic

 

Seekhaven is currently expanding our services to include a sexual assault response coordinator who facilitates inter-agency collaboration in providing the best care for the victim.

Seekhaven continues to focus on the goals of helping women and their families achieve self-suffiency and live violence-free lifestyles.

After twenty-four years, Seekhaven has served nearly 5,000 victims in Southeastern Utah.

We are proud of the work that we do and we truly value the sense of community that exists around us. Seekhaven strives to perpetuate the "extended" neighborhood that envelops Moab. We hope to foster safety, security and self-worth in the people that we work with everyday, but we can not do it alone.
