Service Opportunities for Seniors

Everyday tasks like grocery shopping, driving and cooking that a younger person doesn't give much thought to can become overwhelming and sometimes impossible for an older adult who may be frail due to disease or physical disability. If a senior can no longer shop and prepare food for themselves and doesn't have help, they can quickly become malnourished, lose weight and become weak and ill.

This is where our Meals on Wheels program comes in. We are committed to begin daily hot meal delivery service to homebound seniors within 24 hours of determining their eligibility. Seniors like Agnes E. who is an 83 year old public health nurse who has congestive heart failure. She has limited mobility and lives on a modest fixed income but is doing her best to remain in her own home.  Agnes receive a daily meal from our Meals on Wheels program.
