Services Maximizing Independent Living and Empowerment

Here at SMILE we have several programs designed to help keep the disabled individual independent and living at home.

Examples of just a few programs available at SMILE:

We help with Home modifications to make a home safe and usable for someone with a disability.

We also help with Social Security for people that are not sure what they need to due to apply for SSA or if they want to go back to work what would happen to there Money.

We have a group meeting for the low vision or blind consumers called Lost Peepers. This group meets once a month at SMILE and has speakers from other organization an busnisses in the Yuma area on safety, technology, ect. 

We have IL Skills to Help someone that would like to learn how to cook clean or due Laundry anything to help keep them Independent.
