Our Mission

Serving Our Kids Foundation provides weekend meal bags to school kids who get little or nothing to eat when they’re not in school. 

Each week during the school year, we feed 4,000 hungry kids in 95 schools throughout Clark County, Nevada. But there are thousands more who need our help.

Las Vegas Valley Are Food Insecure

"Food insecurity is defined by the United States Department of Agriculture as the lack of access, at times, to enough food for an active, healthy life." - Feeding America. For kids, food insecurity has a negative impact on their overall health, wellness and development, their school attendance, behavior and academic progress. 

Once hungry kids are referred to Serving Our Kids, we feed them every week for the rest of the school year. No exceptions. They can feel more secure knowing that, regardless of how uncertain their lives are, they will always receive food every Friday. 

Hungry Kids Don’t Dream of The Future 

Hungry kids don’t dream about what they want to be when they grow up. They dream of food. The only thing they want to be is not hungry. 

Serving Our Kids wants all kids to dream of the future, to realize their potential and live happy, meaningful lives.
