This year's request will address Accessibility Needs on Campus
Hospitality is an offering of kindness and generosity to our guests, but also towards our family and friends. It is a necessary ingredient for good relationships. We model this Christian hospitality by offering spaces in our parish that are inviting, useful and accessible. We should gladly offer this hospitality to those with mobility challenges, making our space available to all.
With hospitality in mind, Seven Dolors is taking initial steps to create better functional and accessible spaces. This requires retrofitting some hardware and additional support items in other places. All of this is a goodness extended to our parishioners and guests so our parish may continue the ministry of hospitality and the continue the work of sharing the Good News.
Areas and items in need of improvement include, but are not limited to, door handles, railings, ramps with the possibility of additional lifts. These improvements would allow all parishioners and guests to access the adoration chapel, sanctuary, parish offices and restrooms.
