Shade for Children

We believe an institution is no place for a child. 

We believe the best place for any child is with a loving, happy family.

We believe serving orphaned and vulnerable children shouldn't be so hard.

Through Shade for Children, you can be a hero for orphaned and vulnerable children and their families as we tackle these four goals:

Family Preservation & Reunification- You can provide services and advocacy to keep families together. Your support serves families-in-crisis and helps transition institutionalized kids back to their families.

Adoption & Foster Care- You can enable partnerships with churches and NGOs to advocate for domestic adoption and foster care. Your support encourages families to adopt or foster, and provides services and support to them when they do.

Social/Relational Safety Nets for OVC- Several ministries like our weekly orphanage visitation, relationships with aged-out orphans, An Orphan's Prayer quarterly newsletter, and camps, help us connect orphaned and vulnerable children with a caring community.
