SHARE Fund Inc

The SHARE Fund operates 3 distinct programs to support our mission:

FOOD PANTRY (aka "Gerrys Food Pantry) distributes free food resources to prevent or alleviate hunger in our community. Your donations are most needed and pooled with other resources to provide the most food possible to feed thousands of people each year. Additionally, we offer a DIAPER BANK to assist families with infants and toddlers as well as adults with incontinence issues.

EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE offers financial help with housing, basic utilities, transportation, and urgent medical needs, as well as financial coaching to encourage families to become better money managers and improve their financial outlook.

The COMMUNITY CLOTHING and THRIFT SHOP provides free clothing and household goods to families in need through referrals from area agencies. Donations of gently worn clothing, household items, toys, games, blankets, and more are always appreciated! The Thrift Shop is open to the public for low-cost shopping with all proceeds benefitting our various services.

Donating to the SHARE Fund provides an opportunity for you to make a difference for families in the Greater Rochester, Farmington, and Somersworth area struggling with basic needs and provide support to help break the cycle of poverty.  The SHARE Fund is operated by a part-time Executive Director and over 35 volunteers, allowing our organization, as good stewards, to use your donation to directly impact the lives of our Neighbors in Need.
