The Sharing Place

If you would like to see for yourself the amazing space we hold our grief groups in, please come by our Love UT, Give UT open house on Thursday, March 30th from 3-8pm!

The Sharing Place was founded in 1993 and began in the basement of a preschool with 5 young children.  The program grew faster than we could have imagined and we soon found the need to move to a bigger space.  We moved into our house located on 1695 East 3300 South soon after and added an addition on the house to expand the program to offer grief support to teenagers.

The Sharing Place now holds 35 grief support groups a month for children and their families. We have more than 350 children, teens, and their parents come through our doors each year.  We are especially proud of our Outreach Program, which brings grief support to 7 local schools in the Salt Lake area.

We are so grateful and humbled to be a part of these families stories and hope to continue to have the privledge to watch families heal for many years to come.
