Dear Shasta Historical Society Members and Supporters,

As you may know, our beloved Historical Society experienced an unexpected flood earlier this year. While we acted quickly to safeguard our precious documents and maps, the incident caused some damage to many items and revealed the need for extensive renovations.

Currently, our building is closed as we undertake these essential repairs. We're doing our best to continue serving the community through relocated events and online resources, but the road to reopening is long and costly.

This NorthState Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, we're asking for your help. We've overcome challenges before, but the combined impact of the flood and necessary renovations has placed a significant financial burden on us.
