Shawn M Dunkin Scholarship Fund

Sgt. Shawn M. Dunkin Scholarship has been established to give an Alleghany High School senior a scholarship in memory of Shawn.  Shawn was killed in Iraq on February 19, 2007 just 8 days before his 26th birthday.  Shawn considered Covington, VA as his home town as his family was military and moved around.  He lived in Covington from 5th grade until he joined the U.S. Army in 2000.
