Shi-Tai United Fund Inc

Shi-Tai United Fund Inc. (STUF) is a US based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization established by members of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of North America (TCCNA). The mission of STUF is to unite power and resources of TCCNA members and oversea Taiwanese communities to support activities in four areas: charity relief, education & culture, environmental protection, and public health. Our goal is to become “the United Way of Taiwanese Community.”

How We Work
1. Raise funds from TCCNA members and the general public to be distributed to organizations and communities in need.
2. Create a NPO/NGO network to share resources and provide assistance.
3. Provide TCCNA members with information about charity activities; assist and encourage members to engage in philanthropy.

Why STUF
We believe that a united impact can create a better world. We want to provide Taiwanese communities around the world with the framework to leverage charitable efforts for a larger impact than individuals or organizations would have on their own. Through our grant-making and affiliate programs, your support for us will create enhanced power that eventually can help many more nonprofit organizations or charitible projects in various areas. Our united force can help avoid overlapping efforts and also help donors save time on information searching.

Major Projects

- Response to major disasters around the world: Haiti earthquake relief, Japan earthquake & tsunami relief, South East Asia flood relief, Hurricane Sandy relief.

- Sponsorship to various orgaaniztions/projects: language & computer schools in Cambodia, Taiwanese School of Atlanta, Chopin's Corner Library in Houston, Thanksgiving community dinner for homeless in SF Bay Area, etc.
