Shining a Light on Autism Inc

Shining A Light On Autism is dedicated to building a one-of-a-kind certified autism center here in San Diego California. As an mom to autistic daughters  I know the difficulties autistic children face with lack of activities and social opportunities that are automatically offered to typically developed children.  I am a firm believer that every child deserves to be a child unhindered. Every child deserves an opportunity to put on a football uniform, a ballet skirt, to take an art class or play out their favorite role in a theatre production in front of family and friend.  Every parent deserves to be able to take their child to these activities without the fear of being ridiculed or taunted or excused from the activity due to lack of experience with autistic kids. I get it entirely.  It’s not the community’s fault that they are not trained to deal with her special children but it is not the fault of the children also that is why we need to make this available for them.That is why our team will be fully trained to accommodate autistic children ranging in varying levels of support. I have a 20 years of experience and feel more than equipped to take this idea and   complete this mission so that every autistic  child in San Diego county is offered an opportunity to make life long memories.  Thank you for so much for taking the time to listen to this fundraising opportunities on your dear to my heart.
