Shop With a Cop Foundation of Silicon Valley

The Shop with a cop Foundation of Silicon Valley is 100% volunteer driven It  was created to provide  charitable  relief  for at risk, less fortunate children from  Santa Clara County.  The foundation also supports childen who have suffered a loss of a parent from domestic violence. Each year, children are chosen to particpate is  the Heroes  and Helpers Holiday shopping spree.  Donors  are asked to  give monetary donations  so children ages 6-12, can receive a $125.00 Target gift card. Each child then goes  on a shopping spree escorted by a uniformed police officer to shop for gifts for themselves and family members. The overall mission is to foster better relations with the police and the communtiy. To change perceptions, attitudes and stereotypes children may have towards the police. All monies raised, goes directly into the  outreach programs.

The more monies we raise, the more  needy children we can host for the shopping spree.  Poverty does  not end after the holidays. The ones who suffer the most are children. It is our hope that by  supporting  these special children , that they can share the spirit of giving.
