Everyday Shore House provides door to door transportation for its members struggling with mental illness so they can have the opportunities crucial to their recovery.
Why support Shore House? Because each and every day, our members demonstrate courage by coming to Shore House, not only for themselves, but for each other – and they do this in spite of the stigma and constant daily struggle.
They won't give up. Neither will we.
HELP Shore House defer the costs of gas to transport members.
1 in 5 Americans, or 44 million people in the US live with a serious mental illness.
Shore House is the 1st and only internationally accredited, evidenced-based psycho-social rehabilitation and recovery day program for adults living with serious mental illness in New Jersey. Membership to our Clubhouse is free and voluntary.
There are 11 accredited Clubhouses in New York, 21 in Pennsylvania and 330 worldwide - yet, just ONE in NJ.
We restore hope, independence and self-worth for people living with mental illness by providing access to social,educational and employment opportunities.
