Mission

The mission of Shrewsbury Montessori School is to provide an educationally prepared environment embracing the philosophy and methods of Dr. Maria Montessori.  Our goal is to foster the development of the whole child.

Shrewsbury Montessori School encourages creativity and self-discipline, initiative and academic achievement, independence, self-confidence and a sense of personal and communal responsibility. Shrewsbury Montessori School provides a supportive, non-competitive environment in which each child is accorded the respect and freedom necessary to realize his or her unique personality and potential.
