The Impact Scholars Program at Boise State University provides a safety net for youth who are no longer being served through the state Foster Program to help them meet their educational and vocational goals. Listen to the video and hear their powerful stories!

Please help Soroptimist International of Boise support these young women and men who are striving to better themselves through education.  Your dollars donated in this effort will go directly to the Boise State University Impact Scholars Program.

Here is what

-- $25 would support: a tank of gas, toiletries, school supplies

-- $50 would support: a utility bill, 5-Spot meal plan at University dining locations

-- $75 would support: an academic book, calculator, bike and bike lock, winter clothing

* Transportation Cost $2,080.00

* Textbooks $1,200.00

* Personal Costs $3,010.00

Soroptimist International of Boise -- part of Soroptimist International, a global volunter network of women in 130 countries and territories -- is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally.

Other activities for SI Boise include

"Live Your Dream" -- sponsoring education and training awards for women.

LunaFest -- suppporting Breast Cancer Research by bringing films about women's issues, made by women, for women to Boise.

"Dream It Be It: Career Support for Girls" -- providing girls with tangible strategies to accomplish their career goals.

Annual Holiday Project -- coordinating gift giving for seniors living in care centers and for foster children, so they can enjoy the holidays while knowing someone cares.
