Sierra Community House

Our mission at Sierra Community House is to connect and empower our community through family strengthening, crisis intervention, hunger relief, and legal services. We are the primary safety net service provider in our region.

Our Hunger Relief Team provided 292,997 meals, feeding approximately 3,000 community members.

Our Crisis Team helped 265 community members access domestic and sexual violence services.

Our Legal Team assisted 433 community members to receive 1,234 legal services through our Mediation and Legal Assistance program.

Our Residential Team provided 90 community members with emergency shelter for a total 8,638 nights, including emergency hotel stays and Safe House shelter.

Our Prevention Team provided education to 3,000 youth and adults

Our Family Support Team provided 714 community members with 1,864 services, including connection to social services, assistance with benefit applications, rental and utility assistance, home visitation services, and practical parenting support.

Our Community Engagement Team provided 1,177 services to nearly 600 community members. These culturally and linguistically relevant services include children's workshops, health and wellness programs, parenting classes, and peer support.
