Sirocco Flutes

 This ensemble is a non-profit adult flute choir dedicated to offering the greater Las Vegas community performances of music arranged for flute choirs from a wide variety of styles.  Performances also include instrument demonstrations and brief descriptions of the works we play as well as discussion of the composers and contemporaneous events in history. Our volunteer flute group consists of active and retired CCSD teachers,  a music specialist ,a  Ph.D., social workers, homemakers, veterans, music arrangers, a professional organizer, and students. Flute players in our group play a variety of flutes, including the bass flute, E flat flute, piccolo, C flute, and the alto flute. We hope to add the contrabass flute to our ensemble through donations at our concerts and through other venues. Ultimately, our main goals are to enrich the cultural arts scene in Southern Nevada and provide flute players with educational and performing opportunities.
