SIS, Inc. is a cross-cultural purpose-driven organization for girls. Since 2004, we have been "creating a safe place" for girls 10-18.
Through SIS, Inc. professional women reach out to girls with a commitment to make a positive difference in their lives. In order to be effective in our pursuit, and to give the best effort to today's young girls, SIS, Inc. recognizes the need of a structured program -- one that provides innovative training modules and fun-with-a-purpose activities. These tools will supplement their daily educational training and reinforce the values they are being taught at home.
Therefore, SIS, Inc. is in the process of developing a "Safe Place"Kit. This encompassing resource consists of a SIS, Inc. Leaders' Manual, SIS Participants's Workbook, Participant Forms, SIS Song, and a "Safe Place" Policy and Procedures legal guidebook which protects the mentor and mentee. The Leaders' Manual & Forms contains all information needed to start a chapter and a curriculum that is tailored to the needs of today's girls. This 'SIS, Inc. Kit ' is a tool being produced to assist women throughout the country who earnestly desire to take the lead in their church or community in stemming the tide of teen self-abuse, hostility and negativity by introducing a vehicle of "positive change" in the lives of young girls.
