Tinitiative, Inc is an IRS approved non profit agency. 

The launch of the Sisters In Height program has opened up a discussion about some of the trials and tribulations of being a tall person.

I am a 6'3" tall girl and as a child I was picked on for being so much taller than the other kids. In addition, my mother would dress me in clothing that simply were NOT size appropriate for me. This all added to my humiliation and low confidence as a tall girl.

Not to mention, I was an alien to boys my own age all the way until college!

As I got older and now into my adult years, the struggle continues because instead of people talking to me or having a day-to-day conversation, they are so fascinated by my height until all they could think of are questions to ask me ...such as How tall are you? How tall are your parents? Do you play basketball? 

I know my struggle as a tall girl is NOT unique so Tinitiative, Inc started Sisters In Height (SIH) TM to unite tall girls and women. The program is in its grassroots stages but is slowly but surely reaching the intended population. But, we need your help in getting the word out and educating others on our community. 

Monies from this fundraiser will go directly to creating promotional and educational materials for tall girls and friends. The goal is to increase the knowledge base on this issue and help those tall girls make better decisions on life.
