Who We Are

Skate Ohio isn't just a non-profit organization; we're a movement that's redefining the way people experience sports and community. Our purpose is clear: to provide alternative athletic opportunities that extend beyond traditional norms. As a non-profit, our heart beats for the thrill of skateboarding and non-traditional sports, making them accessible to all ages and skill levels.

With a mission to empower individuals through the act of riding, we're crafting a world where balance meets bravery and camaraderie reigns supreme. Our skate parks and facilities are more than just concrete; they're spaces where creativity flourishes, friendships form, and self-expression takes center stage. At Skate Ohio, we're more than a sport – we're a movement that's carving a path to a healthier, more connected lifestyle, one trick at a time.

Donation Opportunities

• Skate Ohio Community Fund: Donations under this category will provide safety equipment, skateboards, and training to anyone in Ohio that is interested. We will also be holding indoor skateboarding sessions throughout the Winter months completely free of charge and open to the public. 
• Skate For Free At Stoke Run: $1000 Donation.  This is our best advertising partnership.  This allows us to partner with Stoke Run action sports park to allow any and all riders to come experience their facility for free!  All they have to do is say "(Your Business) sent me".  3 professional videos advertising your business sponsoring us.  Shout outs and posts to over 50k social media followers.  (Please note in your donation "Stoke Run Sponsor")
• Board Sponsorship: $1000 Donation.  This donation gets us 10 complete skateboards that we can use at our winter sessions or give away to those who can't afford a board.  These boards will have your business logo and our logon on them done by a local artist.  (Please note in your donation "board sponsor")
• 2025 Winter Sessions Sponsor: Winter Sessions is our free weekly indoor event with a professional style competition on the last night.  The competition is streamed live on YouTube.  It runs from February through April Friday nights from 6-8pm.  It is located at Crossroads Ontario Campus in the gym.  This is a time for connections and fellowship to get us through those last weeks of winter.  You can see videos on our youtube page and our social media.
• $2500 Sponsor (1 available)Full Sponsorship.  Will be the "Skate Ohio Winter Sessions brought to you by (Your Business)       8 Weeks of advertising,  Top spot on all graphics, Links in all posts, Shout outs on podcast episodes, Interviews with all media outlets that cover our events (richland source, WMFD).* interviews if you want to.  If not we will advertise you in the interview how you would like. (Please note in your donation "winter sessions full sponsor")
• $250 Sponsor (4 available)8 Weeks of advertising,  A spot on all graphics, Links in all posts, Shout outs on podcast and events and interviews. (Please note in your donation "winter sessions small sponsor")
• NonProfit General Operations Sponsor:  $3500 Donation.  We have projected that our 2025 operating budget will be $3500.  This will cover yearly insurance, Richland Chamber fees, Permits for events, building new and repairing old obstacles, rental of equipment needed, travel expenses for kids skate trips and more.  (Please note in your donation "general ops sponsor")
• Mansfield Micro Park Sponsorship:   $10,000 Donation.  This donation allows us to set up a skate park in the Mansfield area.  You will be able to name the skate park (subject to approval by Mansfield City) and we will have a sign made by a local artist.  We will work closely together with your business and the city of Mansfield to ensure all safety requirements and area ordinances are followed.  For more information on this please contact us through email to set up a meeting.
• Sled Sheds at Parks: $200 Donation.  This donation would allow us to add 2 more Sled Sheds to Mansfield Parks.
• *Please specify which fund during the donation process. All donations that are not specified will go to the Skate Ohio Community Fund by default.*
