Skipper Band Boosters

Our mission is to support the Mandeville High School Band Program. We empower supporters to help band members achieve greatness through effective fundraising, logistical support, and positive encouragement.

We support nearly 200 students, The Skipper Band is an Award-winning program that consists of 3 Concert Bands, Jazz Band, Concert Percussion Ensembles, Marching Band, Pep Band, Color Guard, and 2 Winter Guard teams. Our directors strive to create a challenging performing environment that encourages excellence through high expectations, hard work, compassion, support and friendship. Each student is fostered by positive relationships with other students, staff and community members who are actively involved in the process. As a volunteer group, our aim is to connect students with the resources they need to thrive, nurturing their dreams and abilities with the necessary funding. We strive to help engage, entertain, and bring joy to those around us with high-energy music and exciting visual performances, while providing the students support through growth in music education and promoting the development of lifelong skills.
