Skyview Learning Academy

Skyview Learning Academy was created to offer an new and exciting alternative to traditional education to local families.  Our Christian-based school focused highly on nature and hands-on learning!  We believe that children require plenty of exercise, free time in nature and fresh air in order for their brains to function as they were designed to by our Creator.  In addition, we choose to educate our students in areas of proper manners, respect, work ethic and practical life learning in addition to creating the daily habit of spending time with Jesus.  Our school opened in the fall of 2014 with 13 students and is ending the year with 17 students.  We are experiencing a tremendous amount of interest for the Fall 2015 school year and have hired a 3rd teacher in order to plan accordingly for this growth.  Our school is now in need of a larger bus for transportation as well as many miscellaneous items that every new school needs.  Some of these items include a 4 new computers, a new photocopier, another teacher desk, gymnastic mats, additional steel folding chairs, 8 ft lunch tables, tools and equipment for the Shop Class, a greenhouse, a volleyball net and fencing for much-desired goat pens and oh so much more.  Our school FIRMLY believes in maintaining a debt-free school and has plans to create business initiatives in the future to provide for our long term sustainability but in the mean time we are asking for support from those that believe in our school and the mission that we chosen.  We want to fill our students minds with practical knowledge, their lungs with fresh air and their hearts with love for their Savior.
