SLO Jazz Festival: Celebrating jazz and nurturing the human spirit, one event at a time...

Created in 2010, and located in San Luis Obispo "The Happiest City on Earth!" -  SLO Jazz Festival, Inc., formed to create an organization to bring jazz concerts, a summer jazz workshop, annual related events and education opportunities, as well as culminating in the SLO Jazz Festival, an annual International Jazz Festival the 3rd weekend in May.

The first concert series, 2011's Court Street Summer Jazz, grew from 12 to 500 to stunning success. In addition, SLO Jazz Festival helped raise over $500 for God's Haven's For Children through a special "Bossa Nova Party" in 2011. In 2013 we raised money for the NOOR Foundation through a Masquerade ball. We plan to do more non-profit FUNdraiser events in the future, too.

The Alfano Motorcars Presents: the 2014 Mercedes-benz SLO Jazz Festival is scheduled for May 17, 2014, with main stage in Downtown San Luis Obispo, CA at Mission de Tolosa Plaza.

The first SLO Jazz Fest Summer Jazz Workshop is still in planning stages, and will most likely be held in Summer of 2014.
