Gente Organizada

Gente Organizada (Gente) is a community-led social action non-profit organization based in Pomona whose mission is to bring together generations to access, build, and wield their collective power to achieve educational, economic, and social justice in our communities. Gente seeks to build strong, organized action groups called, “Community Unions”, comprised of individuals, community-based organizations, and allies that work collaboratively to identify and take action on issues that are important to the community.

Gente is currently focused on organizing parents in Pomona in partnership with Padres Unidos de Pomona, a community action group comprised primarily of Latina mothers in Pomona.
