SMC PRIDE Initiative

The PRIDE Initiative invites everyone to the second annual San Mateo County Pride Celebration. Attendees will enjoy a fun-filled day of live music, entertainment and informational programs on topics including youth advocacy in schools, coming out, and our many expressions of spirituality and various support groups tailored to the LGBTQQI2S (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and 2 spirit) community.

 

                     “It’s important to show the community that we are here for everyone” Susan Takalo, Pride Initiative Co-chair, said about the upcoming event, “Our Pride event is a great way to show off the diversity of the County and its inclusiveness, and a great way to showcase the comprehensive health and wellness services available in San Mateo County.”
