Smile for a Lifetime - Midpeninsula Chapter

About: Dr. Eric Wu recognizes the value of a beautiful smile and understands that orthodontia can be out of reach for many families.  He saw an opportunity to address this and created the Midpeninsula chapter of Smile for a Lifetime (S4L). S4L is a national, non-profit organization whose mission is “to create self-confidence, inspire hope, and change the lives of children in our community in a dramatic way”, through the gift of a smile. S4L Midpeninsula awards 6 pro bono orthodontic treatment scholarships annually to under-served children.  

Mission: It is our Mission to create self-confidence, inspire hope, and changes the lives of children in our community in a dramatic way. The gift of a smile can do all this for a deserving, underserved individual who, in turn, can use this gift to better themselves and our community. 

Primary Purpose: Award orthodontic scholarships (free braces) to 6 deserving children each year. Our program is made possible by Dr. Eric Wu of Wu Orthodontics who donates his skill and time towards these candidates.
