Snake River Community Clinic Inc

The Snake River Community Clinic has started its 18th year in providing access to health care for the uninsured, medically needy--uninsured, low-income patients. 

We provide basic health care, chronic illness management, mental health, labs, x-rays, medications, and limited dental free of charge to those who qualify.  And we do all of this great work with a staff of volunteers, both lay and professional.  

We also provide community and clinical experience for pre-med and nursing students, including WWAMI medical students and residents (University of Washington Medical School (Washington Wyoming Alaska Montana and Idaho)).

We are an award-winning clinic with award-winning volunteers.  In 2016, we received the Idaho Nonprofit Award of Excellence.  Only one of many awards made possible by our incredible volunteers.

In 2017, our patient load increased dramatically.  Many people who had Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage experienced a drastic increase in premiums.  Because of this, they were forced to drop their ACA coverage.  And with the political climate in Washington, D.C. and Boise being so divisive, things are only getting worse.  

So, the Snake River Community Clinic is still here covering the gap in healthcare that no one else will.  We are still very much needed.  And we are still very committed to our mission: to help the uninsured medically needy access quality healthcare.  Everyone deserves to be healthy.  Everyone.
