Snow City Arts works with children and young people in the hospital—our artists sit down one-on-one with kids who want to create art and learn about art.

For a child, being in the hospital can be overwhelming, frightening, lonely or boring. In a place where kids have little control, Snow City Arts’ award-winning program lets them choose to paint, draw, make music or a film, write poetry or perform a play. They pick the topic, and our trained artists help them create art and learn art technique, theory and history. Snow City arts turns a hospital room into a working artist’s studio.
