Snowbasin Ski Education Foundation DBA Ogden Valley Winter Sports Foundation

The Ogden Valley Winter Sports Foundation (OVWSF), formerly known as the Snowbasin Ski Education Foundation (SSEF), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the development of young ski and snowboarding athletes. The Ogden Valley Ski Team, sponsored by the Foundation, provides a fun and challenging way for young men and women to improve their skiing and to develop the skills and discipline that will provide lifelong enjoyment of an active outdoor lifestyle. We have over 300 members in our foundation including Alpine Ski Racers, Snowboards, All Mountain Skiers and Cross Country Skiers.  We also run and support a Winter Sports Academy at Snowcrest Jr. High. We have over 30 coaches that help our athletes attain their athletic goals within our sport while encouraging good sportsmanship and instilling quality life skills.

 

The OVWSF offers a number of programs for young athletes interested in developing their skills in Alpine Skiing, Ski Racing, Snowboarding, Big Mountain Skiing and even Cross Country (Nordic). Each program is designed to allow individuals to achieve their athletic goal whatever that goal maybe. For some it’s as simple as improving one’s skiing ability while for another it maybe dreams of Olympic gold. The OVWSF offers flexibility and choices to better accommodate families’ needs from both a time and cost perspective. We have entry level programs starting at as little as $350 for the season.
